Ralph Mills and Ielane Mills (plaintiffs) sued Jerry Crawford (defendant) for defendant's alleged negligence in "burning brush, wood, grass, leaves and undergrowth on his property" and leaving "the fire unattended, thereby negligently allowing it to spread onto the property of plaintiffs."
