Hawkins not guilty of assault with intent to murder while armed,1 D.C.Code §§ 22-503, -3202 (1989), but guilty of the lesser included offense of assault with a dangerous weapon, id. § 22-502. On appeal, Hawkins contends that the trial judge abused his discretion in denying a motion for mistrial after the prosecutor placed a prejudicial allegation before the jury...
