OPINION

SEERDEN, Justice.

A jury found the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation liable for Calvin Kitchen's death and for Charles Richards's injuries. The men were involved in an auto accident which occurred when the appellees' truck encountered ice on the highway, slid into oncoming traffic, and collided with another vehicle. The State raises seven points of error. We affirm.
