Appellant, John McWhorter, appeals from his judgment and sentence, after trial by jury, and from the denial, after evidentiary hearing, of his motion for post-conviction relief under Rule 29.15. McWhorter was convicted of one count of assault in the first degree, for which he was sentenced to life imprisonment, one count of armed criminal action, for which he was sentenced to fifty years, and one count of kidnapping, for which he was sentenced to fifteen...
