In the early morning hours of April 11, 1987, Donald Gene Petary and Andrew Six drove to the home of Donald and Janet Allen at Hidden Valley Trailer Park located on Highway 34, west of Ottumwa, Iowa. When Petary and Six arrived, Donald and Janet Allen were asleep in their mobile home with their two daughters, Christine, age sixteen, and Kathy, age twelve.
