The appellee, Jacqueline Grischow (claimant), filed an application for adjustment of claim pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act (Act) (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 48, par. 138.1 et seq.). Following hearings in 1987 and 1988, the arbitrator awarded certain medical expenses, found the claimant was totally and permanently disabled, and awarded $156.67 per week for life as provided in section 8(f) of the Act ...
