Plaintiffs, Barbara Thibodeaux and Herbert Thibodeaux, sued defendant, Winn-Dixie of Louisiana, Inc., to recover damages sustained when Barbara fell in a Winn-Dixie store on July 15, 1988. A bench trial was held on March 7 & 8, 1991. The trial court awarded $20,000 for past pain and suffering and loss of consortium; $7,500 for future pain and suffering; $3,237.89 for past loss of wages; $7,876.96 for future loss of wages; $5,876...
