Appellant was charged with aggravated DWI in violation of Minn.Stat. § 169.129 (1990) (DWI while license revoked). He was additionally charged with three alternative counts of gross misdemeanor DWI in violation of Minn.Stat. § 169.121, subds. 1(a), 1(d), 1(e) (1990), more severely punishable because of his prior convictions.
