Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendant Ronald Smith was found guilty of four counts of armed robbery and sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment, with three years of mandatory supervision upon release. Defendant also pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful use of a firearm, for which he was sentenced to four years of imprisonment to be served concurrently with the armed robbery sentence...
