This case involves post-divorce proceedings.

In December 1982, Doloris Parmer Culwell (mother) and Walter Perry Culwell (father) were divorced. Custody of their two children was awarded to the mother, and the father was ordered to pay the mother $350.00 every two weeks as "alimony and child support."
