A jury convicted Richard C. Brandon of two counts of assault in the first degree, a class A felony, and one count of kidnapping, an unclassified felony. AS 11.41.200(a)(1), (a)(2); AS 11.41.300(a)(1)(C). This court reversed the conviction. Brandon v. State, 778 P.2d 221 (Alaska App. 1989).
