KAPLAN, Justice.

Edgar Ramon Soto pleaded guilty to murder. Pursuant to a plea bargain agreement, the court assessed punishment at twenty-five years' confinement and a $750 fine. Appellant contends that (1) the trial court erred by permitting the unsworn testimony of an interpreter and (2) his guilty plea was involuntary.
