John Jeffrey Peterson (defendant) was convicted, after a jury trial, of selling marijuana. § 195.020, RSMo 1986 (repealed). He appeals that conviction contending that his right to compulsory process to obtain witnesses was eroded due to prosecutorial misconduct, and that he was denied the opportunity to properly prepare his defense because the state was allowed to amend the information that charged him with the offense for which he was convicted...
