STATON, Judge.

James Slone appeals the denial of his petition for post conviction relief, raising five issues for our review. We consolidate and rephrase those issues as the following two:

I. Whether Slone's petition for post conviction relief is barred by the equitable doctrine of laches. II. Whether Slone's guilty plea in the underlying conviction was knowing and voluntary.

We reverse.
