Richard Grant Davis was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C.App. § 1202(a)(1). Based upon his prior felony convictions, he received the mandatory fifteen-year sentence prescribed by the sentence enhancement provision of the statute.
