BURGESS, Justice.

This is a Jones Act and unseaworthiness injury case. Richard Williams was injured in two separate accidents while a crew member of an offshore rig. He brought suit against Penrod Drilling Corporation (Penrod) on claims of unseaworthiness, gross negligence and maintenance and cure.
