NEUMAN, Justice.

A jury convicted Madonna Kasel of second-degree sexual abuse, a violation of Iowa Code sections 709.1 and 709.3(2) (1989). The conviction stems from allegations that Kasel sexually abused a seven-year-old boy for whom she had been regularly baby-sitting. On appeal, Kasel mounts constitutional challenges to the admissibility of statements made in custody, and the closed-circuit television transmission of the victim's testimony outside her presence...
