The issues on appeal are when payment of a workers' compensation award for an occupational disease claim should begin, and whether the claimant is totally disabled. The factual history of the case is not in dispute; however, a brief summary of the facts is necessary. On May 12, 1986, appellee, Abel Parsons, was injured in a work-related accident.
