The respondent in this attorney discipline proceeding has admitted that, while serving as a deputy state public defender, he improperly solicited and converted funds from indigent criminal defendants and their relatives, and used cocaine. Moreover, the respondent lied about the conversions and submitted fabricated evidence to a special prosecutor and to a disciplinary counsel investigator.
