The petitioner, Darryl Travis Watkins, appeals from the circuit court's denial of his petition for post-conviction relief pursuant to A.R.Cr.P. Temp. 20. In 1982, the petitioner was convicted, after a jury trial, of the capital offense of murder committed during the course of a robbery, in violation of § 13A-5-31, Code of Alabama 1975, and he was sentenced to death.
