Defendant, Terry Colbert (Colbert), appealed his sentence on eight counts of making false declarations before a grand jury or court in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1623. After a jury trial, Colbert was convicted on all counts and received a total sentence of 135 months, the maximum sentence within the defendant's sentencing range of 108 to 135 months.
