Plaintiff, Margaret Chrysler, as special administratrix of the estate of Herbert E. Chrysler, deceased, brought an action in the circuit court of Cook County against Dr. William Darnall under the Wrongful Death Act (Ill.Rev.Stat.1981, ch. 70, pars. 1, 2) and the Survival Act (Ill.Rev.Stat.1981, ch. 110½, par. 27-6).
