Appellant Gerald Bartley contends the trial court erred by awarding him a 6 percent interest rate as provided in Minn.Stat. § 334.01, subd. 2 (1990), rather than a 12 percent rate as provided for in a promissory note. Bartley also argues the trial court erred by not awarding him attorney fees.
