This appeal comes to us from a judgment casting the State of Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), for 70% of the damages resulting from an intersectional collision. Plaintiffs have answered the appeal contending that the trial court assessed too high a percentage of fault, 30%, to another defendant, Shelia Barnett, the driver of the vehicle in which the injured and killed parties were riding.
