David George Durham appeals the twenty-five-year sentence imposed by the District Court1 for the District of Minnesota upon his plea of guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine base ("crack"), in violation of 21 U.S.C.A. § 846 (West Supp.1991), and use of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, in violation of 18 U.S.C.A. § 924(c)(1) (West Supp. 1991).
