Ronnie Carr appeals from his conviction under 18 U.S.C. § 1703(b) for knowingly and without authority opening mail not directed to him. At the time he committed the acts underlying his conviction, Carr was privately employed as a mail clerk by the First National Bank of Chicago ("First Chicago").
