Defendants, John Ramey, Robert Jernigan and Lorenzo White, were convicted in separate jury trials of murder (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1985, ch. 38, par. 9-1), home invasion (Ill. Rev.Stat.1985, ch. 38, par. 12-11), residential burglary (Ill.Rev.Stat.1985, ch. 38, par. 19-3) and robbery (Ill.Rev.Stat.1985, ch. 38, par. 18-1) after police discovered the bound, gagged and beaten body...
