McDONALD, Judge.

In 1985 the appellant, Ranzle Goodlet, was indicted on two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and of being a first-degree persistent felony offender. Goodlet attempted to have the charges dismissed because of a bargain he made with a police officer in which the officer agreed that the charges would be dropped if Goodlet took and passed a polygraph examination. Goodlet passed the polygraph and a handwriting test as well, but was prosecuted...
