SNELL, Justice.

Robert Ray Douglas was charged with one count of murder in the first degree and two counts of attempted murder. A jury found him guilty of murder in the first degree and assault with intent to inflict serious injury on count two. He was acquitted on count three. Douglas has appealed to this court.
