Appellants were the owners of a warehouse and commercial property in Miles City. A fire started in the portion of the building rented to respondent, and destroyed the building. Appellants filed a complaint in the Sixteenth Judicial District Court, Custer County, for damages resulting from the fire. Respondent counterclaimed for its damages.
