When a claim for workers' compensation is made, the insurance carrier is subrogated to the rights of the injured employee and may enforce the liability of the person who caused the injury. Tex. Rev.Civ.Stat.Ann. art. 8308-4.05(b) (Vernon Supp.1992).1 This case requires us to determine when the carrier's subrogation action accrues for purposes of applying the statute of limitations.
