John W. Platt appeals the district court1 decision dismissing his state law wrongful discharge suit against Jack Cooper Transport Co., Inc. Before filing this lawsuit, Platt had unsuccessfully sought wrongful discharge relief by instituting a grievance under Cooper's collective bargaining agreement, and by filing unfair labor practice complaints with the National Labor Relations Board.
