Johnny L. Ray appeals jury convictions of one count of first degree murder, one count of attempted first degree murder, and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, 162/3 to 50 years' imprisonment for attempted murder, and 62/3 to 20 years' imprisonment for each firearm count. His sole assignment of error is that the trial court failed to suppress his inculpatory statement...
