The only issue before this Court is whether the Louisiana Oilfield Indemnity Act1 applies to the facilities of LOOP, Inc.,2 a corporation engaged in receiving oil from supertankers at its deepwater terminal, storing that oil in its land-based salt dome caverns, and distributing that oil to various refineries.
