The appellant, Joseph Miller, was convicted of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, in violation of § 13A-12-212, Code of Alabama 1975. His 10-year sentence was split, pursuant to § 15-18-8, Code of Alabama 1975, with 3 years to be served and 7 years on probation. The trial court subsequently revoked the split sentence and ordered him to serve the 10-year sentence. He now appeals...
