THOMAS, Justice.

Lone Star Gas Company appeals from a take-nothing judgment in its suit against Reita Production, Inc. and Mexia Oil and Gas, Inc., Reita's successor in interest under a gas-purchase agreement (the contract). In four points of error, Lone Star argues that the evidence establishes as a matter of law that Mexia assumed Reita's contractual obligation to indemnify Lone Star for taxes paid on Reita's behalf.
