This case involves the requirements of the uninsured motorist provisions of the Maryland Insurance Code. It arises out of an automobile accident which occurred in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The plaintiff, John Waters, was a passenger in an automobile driven by Edward Schreier and owned by Edward's father.
