Prior to 1960, Herman Knaust and Katherine Knaust owned approximately 41 acres of real property in the Town of Saugerties, Ulster County, which was known as Stroomzeist. In 1960, they conveyed approximately 1½ acres of Stroomzeist to defendants Herman K. Knaust and Elizabeth L. Knaust (hereinafter collectively referred to as defendants). In 1964, the Knausts conveyed the remainder of Stroomzeist to Mildred, Pauline and Edward Montano...
