This action began on April 18, 1989, when appellant, Marie Johnston (Johnston), filed a complaint in the Fourth Judicial District Court, Missoula County, alleging conversion and breach of contract. The District Court granted summary judgment in favor of the respondents, American Reliable Insurance (Reliable) and Janeva Galayda (Galayda).
