Gilbert and Gloria Dante leased a house from Jeffrey and Holly Golas. The lease agreement ("lease-option") contained an option to purchase the property by assuming the mortgage. The Dantes informed the Golases in mid-December, 1988, that they wished to purchase the house. On December 28, 1988, the Golases sent the Dantes a letter stating that they did not want to sell the property unless the Dantes qualified with the mortgagee and assumed the mortgage...
