A construction worker was seriously injured when he shot himself in the head with a nailgun. At the time of his injuries the worker was employed by a subcontractor who was hired to frame a house. The worker brought suit against the general contractor to recover damages for his injuries. The district court granted summary judgment to the general contractor.
