Defendant, Michael Richardson, was charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967. At his arraignment on December 7, 1988 he pled not guilty. Defendant filed a motion to suppress the evidence which was denied by the trial court on December 19, 1988.
