This case arises out of a dispute between a franchisor, Doctor's Associates, Inc., ("DAI") as well as the various other named defendants, and franchisees David and Diane McKinnon. (These defendants will be referred to collectively as DAI in this opinion). DAI is a franchisor of Subway submarine sandwich shops.
