Carl Hallock appeals from his August 14, 1990 conviction after a jury trial in the district court for conspiracy and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Hallock alleges errors in the pretrial proceedings and at trial and claims that, at different stages in the prosecution, he was denied both the right to effective assistance of counsel and the right to counsel of choice.
