KALITOWSKI, Judge.

Edward and Helen Buchanan began simultaneous actions in state and federal court against Dain Bosworth Inc. (Dain) and its registered representative, Vlasie Solon. The federal court dismissed several of the claims and granted Dain and Solon summary judgment on the remaining federal claims prior to trial. Dain and Solon moved for summary judgment in state court on res judicata grounds...
