SENTENCING OPINION

SWEET, District Judge.

Defendant Jean Bernier ("Bernier") was convicted following a bench trial on December 4, 1990 on all counts of a seven count indictment for bank robbery and possession of a firearm returned on October 4, 1990. For the reasons set forth below, Bernier will be sentenced to a term of 40 years of imprisonment followed by a three year term of supervised release, subject to the sentencing hearing now set for February 27...
