The evidence adduced at trial established that the defendant was one of three individuals who participated in the attempted robbery of a car service driver on a Brooklyn street. According to the testimony of an eyewitness to the crime, one of the defendant's accomplices took exception to the fact that the driver of the car service had honked his horn.
