The appellant was indicted for the murder of Earl Ray McCrory, the murder of Philip Frazier Mills Jr., the first degree assault of James Edward Mills, and the first degree assault of Leon Wayne Mills. The State filed a motion to consolidate the four charges for trial, and the motion was granted.
