Appellant Art Richardson was convicted by a jury of first degree premeditated murder, felony murder, first and second degree rape, first and second degree sexual offense, burglary, robbery with a deadly weapon, and use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence. Richardson waived his right to be sentenced by a jury and elected to be sentenced by the court. The trial judge, Simpkins, J., sentenced him to death for the first degree murder...
