Defendant, the Chicago Police Board (Board), suspended petitioner, Officer Gerald Wesley, for 18 months after finding that he had illegally used marijuana. On administrative review, the trial court sustained the Board's finding, set aside the suspension as unduly harsh and remanded the cause for imposition of a reduced penalty.
